While this app/product tended to have its bugs, it was mostly working, until it wasn’t. The developers no longer update the app and have rendered the interface useless to interact with the plugs. The plugs themselves still work and do still use any old programming/timers previously set in them, but the app will only function on an older outdated/unsupported Apple device, if you still had one. Unfortunate for those of us who invested into multiple plugs, as many of us do.

Doesn’t seem to work any more.

After installing the app and trying to set up my device I was notified by my router that the app was acting maliciously on my iPhone. It was described as “ET Malware Observed Malicious SSL Cert (Acme co)”.

As long as their power outlet has online

Developer does not keep the app updated and now with new iPhone updates the broad link controller plugs are useless. Don’t buy

This app KINDA used to work, would randomly shut off but would function well. Now with most recent iOS update, app won’t even open.

I have so many of these devices in now after that I they all stopped working. The app crashes anytime used ☹️

I have been using this for a few yrs. Have maybe seen only a few updates in the pass 3 yrs. I’m upset because I’ve had 8 WiFi plugs on this app. None of them work anymore. Tried to reset PW and it says failed connecting to network. Funny cause everything else I have works now prob. But this app. Now when I open app it just crashes. Turns off. So had to move to Smart-Life. Flawless to this day. Everything works. Sad they could not keep up with this app. I give it 2 stars because I got a few yrs out of it. If anyone is looking for a better app. Smart-Life or plenty more out there. Good luck.

Please Update your App. It is not working with latest Apple IOs Software Update. I cannot turn on or off my heater and pump with the app!! Help!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 It worked ok until some months ago!!

Hello. App worked great for years. Now with new phone and newer iOS on old phone. App simply closes (crashes) when I select one of my devices. Any idea why? Thanks

Units worked great until the latest update.

Tolerated timer not working; intermittent connection failures for the last few years. Now app crashes whenever tapping on a device.

I really liked this app and device when I got it but it has not worked since the iOS 15 update came through. Please update and I will upgrade the Review.

It doesn’t work after iOS 15. When clicking the smart socket icon in main UI, the APP crashed and exited. Please fix it.

It worked great until it didn’t. Now that we have moved our clocks by an hour, I am unable to change the timer settings for my smart plug.

Ok you guys. No update for over 2 years and now your app will no longer work after I upgraded to iOS 15. When I press the icon for any of my connected controllers, the App explodes, and I am unable to change the setting on any on my devices. It is getting dark earlier, and I’d like to change the “ON”. Time, but cannot access any of my devices. DO NOT BYE until they say that the app. Works with iOS 15. I’m now going switch to Alexa devices and those will give me voice override. You guys are going to lose me and probably many others. Get off your butts!

Sockets devices are not responding with IOS 15.02 Just updated IOS, When pushing the device icon the application crashes.

I installed this app today but unfortunately it crashed several times when I tried to add BroadLink sp3s device. maybe, The developer may need to debug it’s app.

I‘ve problem after upgrading my phone to ios 15. The app didn't work correctly and will be closed instantly after i open it.

The App needs to be updated by the developer to work on iOS 15

All the button names are misaligned after a new phone and iOS update. :(

It was fine but, suddenly the buttons are on the left side of the screen. Don’t find a way to center it as it was at the beginning.

You need to update your app to compatible with IPhone XR

I was trying various options on Android and iOS devices and the app never finds the device. I tried over WiFi network and directly contacting device. When I contact it directly I can get into its network but the app still doesn't recognize it. Garbage.

I have 40 of these plugs and I absolutely love them. The only reason I did not give it five stars is I wish they worked with Apple HomeKit. Please, I hope one day you upgrade this app to work with Siri

Their SSL certificate has expired and is one issued by a blocked CA. You can’t reset your password due to this. Several emails to support have been ignored.

Developers have been fairly expedient fixing bugs.

This is one of the least usable apps in 2018. As an example: if you want to pause or edit a timer you set up, forget it. There’s no way to do it. Your only option is to delete it and set up a new one.

Testing the last update

Now the the timers are working again, this is great. Very easy to program. Easier than most all plugs I have seen and had.

Update to the 2.8.1 comments from earlier-2.8.2 seems to have fixed the problem 2.8.1 caused. Good on them for fixing it quickly. Hopefully there will be better quality control on updates in the future. ——-previous comments——— Updated from 2.8.0 to 2.8.1 on iphone. “Device does not exist” error appears. Older iphone with 2.8.0 works fine. Tried resetting, AP mode, adding device, etc to no avail. DO NOT INSTALL 2.8.1. Hopefully this ridiculous new bug will be fixed soon. Meanwhile all devices with the upgrade are essentially bricked as remotes now. Thanks for wasting my time Broadlink, shame on you for breaking what was working perfectly.

Using version 2.8.2 with a SmartPlug. Device time is off by 12 hours, rendering timer settings unusable. Also, can’t set Daylight Savings Time end date year to 2019. It won’t go any later than 2018.

I dont know why, but currently it is not working local time, it’s following Bejing time. Pls help me fix.
